Stampslore, squidoo and google

Long time ago (sometimes in 2007) I registered to squidoo and made a page there to promote my ebay store. To be honest I didn't tend very much to this page, and for almost two years it just sat there, with very to no updates. But it keep bringing me traffic, days in and days out. Recently, I become interested again in squidoo and decided it was time to refresh my Stampslore page.

Dilemma: I hated the special template Squidoo did for us ebay store owners back in 2007 and wanted to revert to one of the regular template. That couldn't be done. I had to do the page again, but was told that if I keep the same url, I will keep the backlinks and hopefully, remain seen on google search. If you search for Stampslore, my Squidoo page is coming up in third place (first entry being this blog). Squidoo is a good promotional tool.

Now time will tell if I did a mistake or not! The new page is done (need a little more content, but the basic is done).
